DODD - now that the summit has been cleared of trees, the views are superb. Criffel, over the Solway Firth is clearly visible on a nice day

A loveley walk from Castlerigg, through Keswick and the fields south of Bassenthwaite Lake and to the summit of Dodd. Passing the Osprey viewing point on the way - we had a good view of the birds across Bass.
